They have offices in the UK but I'm not entirely sure where they originate from given it says "manufactured in the EU for" and then gives a Polish address, which is fine, I just like to have transparency on location! All the ingredients will be sourced around the world, but they do test them all to certain standards and you can find their certifications on their site. The capsules ============ The vegetarian capsules are a good size, smooth and easy to swallow. They're just under the length of a 20p piece and just slide down with water, with no obvious taste or smell. They advise two capsules a day, one in the morning and one in the evening after a meal, meaning you get one month's worth. Cordyceps ============ There are many purported effects of the cordyceps fungus. Apparently people use it as an energy booster, an immunity and resistance booster and also an aphrodisiac too. It's always worth doing your research with these things just to ensure you know what you're taking. The company also seem to be backing the fact they may aid with nerve function, too. Mushrooms truly are amazing! Effectiveness ============ It's hard to quantify how much something helps you as a supplement, given as well usually you should wait atleast 3 months to fully benefit from them. My fungi-obsessed partner describe cordyceps like a "buff": it's like a passive effect that you can feel, but is almost imperceptible unlike hard-hitting things like coffee. For me, taking the cordyceps seems to have improved my overall energy levels (I have fibromyalgia). Caffeine helps my concentration, but this supplement seems to give a general all-over boost, especially in the morning with waking up naturally. It's like having a little bit more clarity earlier, although as always it's hard to isolate this effect as it has also been lighter out! I do though think my body is benefiting from them generally. These capsules from Osavi are of good strength and seem to be of good quality, as is the case with other Osavi products which I have taken. These medium-sized capsules are easy to swallow and I have not encountered any discernible aftertaste or undesirable side effects. Of course, it is much too early for me to be able to report on the immune-boosting effects nor, indeed, can I comment on the efficacy of Cordyceps as an aphrodisiac (chance would be a fine thing), but I can say that since taking it regularly I have experienced more energy. I take it with my morning coffee and it certainly gives me a boost and helps me get going. I have also noticed a big reduction in my usual hay fever symptoms.
